Ingredients
200 g | brown sugar |
2 tbsp | flour |
300 ml | boiling water |
1 tbsp | butter |
30 ml | brandy, optional |
Instructions
Mix sugar and flour together in a pan, add a little cold water and stir well.Spoon butter into boiling water and slowly add to the flour mixture. Cook, stirring constantly, until thick.
Remove from heat and add brandy if desired. Serve immediately over squares of spice cake.
