Ingredients
75 g | walnuts, chopped |
75 g | cashew nuts, chopped |
21 g | yeast, crumbled |
250 g | spelt wholemeal flour |
250 g | wheat flour |
salt | |
flour for the working surface | |
350 ml | lukewarm water |
Instructions
In a bowl, combine the yeast and the warm water. Sift in all the flour and 1 teaspoon of salt. Knead until well combined. Knead in the nuts. Cover and allow to rise at a warm place for 1 hour.Knead again. Divide the dough in two parts. On a floured surface, form 2 longish rolls. Place the rolls on a lined baking tray. Cover and allow to rise for another 45 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 200°C. Bake for 20 minutes or until cooked through and golden and crispy.
