Ingredients

75 g walnuts, chopped
75 g cashew nuts, chopped
21 g yeast, crumbled
250 g spelt wholemeal flour
250 g wheat flour
salt
flour for the working surface
350 ml lukewarm water

Instructions

In a bowl, combine the yeast and the warm water. Sift in all the flour and 1 teaspoon of salt. Knead until well combined. Knead in the nuts. Cover and allow to rise at a warm place for 1 hour.

Knead again. Divide the dough in two parts. On a floured surface, form 2 longish rolls. Place the rolls on a lined baking tray. Cover and allow to rise for another 45 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 200°C. Bake for 20 minutes or until cooked through and golden and crispy.
