Poppy seed curd cheese cake recipe details
Ingredients
For the dough: | |
125 g | flour |
25 g | sugar |
1 dash(es) | salt |
1 | yolk |
65 g | butter, cold |
For the poppy seed filling: | |
60 ml | milk |
25 g | butter |
25 g | sugar |
½ tsp | lemon zest, grated |
125 g | ground poppy seed |
For the curd cheese filling: | |
1 | egg |
65 g | sugar |
250 g | curd cheese (low fat) |
100 g | sour cream (10 % fat) |
1 tbsp | starch |
½ tsp | lemon zest, grated |
2 tsp | lemon juice |
Instructions
Dough:Place all ingredients in a bowl and knead until you got a smooth dough. Wrap the dough in a plastic foil and place in the fridge for 30 minutes.
Poppy seed filling:
Mix milk, butter, sugar and lemon zest in a cooking pot and bring it to the boil. Add poppy seed. Cover and put aside.
Curd cheese filling:
Separate the yolk and the egg white. Beat the egg white (you can add the egg white from the first egg) until stiff, stir in sugar. Mix curd cheese, sour cream, yolk, starch, lemon zest and lemon juice. Fold egg whites into mixture.
Grease springform pan, place the dough in the springform pan and use your fingers to press the dough along the rim of the springform, about 3 cm high.
Fill in the poppy seed filling.
Fill the curd cheese filling on top of the poppy seed filling.
Place springform in the oven and bake at 160°C for 45 minutes.
