soy bean soup recipe details
Ingredients
500 g | soy beans, dried |
1 small | onion, sliced |
900 ml | water |
700 ml | tomato juice |
1 tbsp | sugar |
1 | carrot |
salt, to taste |
Instructions
Wash soy beans thoroughly, then cover with water, and let soak overnight.Drain beans and process in blender or food processor. Put into sauce pan with the onion and and water, cover, and leave to simmer over low heat for about 1.5 – 2 hours.
Add remaining ingredients, stir, and reheat before serving.
Garnish soup with grated carrot.
