Ingredients
Serves: 8- 3 eggs
- 2/3 cup sugar
- dash salt
- 1 cup dark corn syrup
- 1/3 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup pecan halves
- 1 unbaked pie shell
Preparation method
Prep: 20 mins | Cook: 50 mins1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
2. Beat eggs with sugar, salt, corn syrup, extracts and butter. add 1/2 cup of pecans pour into unbaked pastry shell, decorate with remaining pecans as desired.
3. Bake in preheated oven until filling is set and crust is lightly browned, about 50 minutes.
