Ingredients
1 kg | lean pork shoulder, skin off, cut into 2cm cubes |
6 tbsp | oil |
2 clove(s) | garlic, crushed |
4 large | onions, diced |
6 | bell peppers, chopped |
1 can(s) | pineapple pieces |
1 can(s) | mushrooms |
1 liter(s) | chicken stock |
250 g | chili sauce |
400 ml | white wine |
300 ml | cream |
salt and pepper | |
paprika powder | |
Tabasco sauce |
Instructions
In a large saucepan or roasting tin, fry the pork cubes in oil until slightly golden all around. Add onions, garlic and bell peppers and fry until translucent. Add the pineapples, mushrooms, chicken stock, chili sauce and white wine and bring to a boil. Cover and cook until the meat is tender. Pour in the cream and season to taste with salt, pepper, paprika powder and Tabasco sauce.Serve with fresh crusty white bread.
