Ingredients
1 | green papaya, shredded |
2 clove(s) | garlic, cut into 3 pieces |
6 | chilies, (or less to taste), cut into 3 pieces |
2 | small tomatoes, cut into 4 pieces |
60 g | long beans, cut into 2 cm pieces |
4 tbsp | tamarind juice, (should be thick) |
4 tbsp | lemon juice |
2 tbsp | sugar |
2 tbsp | peanuts, minced |
some | cucumber |
some | Chinese cabbage, optional |
Instructions
Divide all ingredients into two batches.Put garlic and chillies into a mortar and pound into a paste. Add long beans, pound roughly. Then add shredded papaya, pound and stir with the pestle and a spoon.
Add tamarind juice, lemon juice, and sugar, stir well, add peanuts. Set aside and prepare the second portion, then mix both batches well. Put on a plate and decorate with cucumber slices and Chinese cabbage (optional).
This salad can be served with Thai BBQ chicken and sticky rice.
