Som Tum Thai Green Papaya Salad recipe

|1||green papaya, shredded|
|2 clove(s)||garlic, cut into 3 pieces|
|6||chilies, (or less to taste), cut into 3 pieces|
|2||small tomatoes, cut into 4 pieces|
|60 g||long beans, cut into 2 cm pieces|
|4 tbsp||tamarind juice, (should be thick)|
|4 tbsp||lemon juice|
|2 tbsp||peanuts, minced|
|some||Chinese cabbage, optional|
Divide all ingredients into two batches.
Put garlic and chillies into a mortar and pound into a paste. Add long beans, pound roughly. Then add shredded papaya, pound and stir with the pestle and a spoon.
Add tamarind juice, lemon juice, and sugar, stir well, add peanuts. Set aside and prepare the second portion, then mix both batches well. Put on a plate and decorate with cucumber slices and Chinese cabbage (optional).
This salad can be served with Thai BBQ chicken and sticky rice.
