- Ingredients:
- 3-1/2 cups oats (quick or old-fashioned), uncooked
- 1 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup nuts
- 2/3 cup butter or margarine, melted
- 1/2 cup honey, molasses, or corn syrup
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
Toss oats with all ingredients and mix well. Press into well-greased jelly roll pan (15-1/2 x 10-1/2 inches). Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Cool, then cut into bars.
Makes: 10 to 12 bars
