A twist on the tasty Crab Rangoons that everybody can’t get enough of. applewood bacon, burgundy mushrooms, and goat cheese star in this savory morsel of love.

Ingredients
Serves: 5- 2 1/3 cups cream cheese
- 1 cup goat cheese
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon coriander
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cups portabella mushroom (sub any), mince dice
- 2/3 cup red wine
- 1-4 slices applewood smoked bacon, mince dice
- 1 egg
- a slash cream
- 15 wonton wrappers (as thin as possible) 3×3″
Preparation method
Prep: 30 mins | Cook: 15 mins1. Cream together cream cheese, goat cheese, and spices. Place in bowl and reserve.
2. Saute garlic in olive oil until just tender. Add diced mushrooms and saute for 30 seconds. Deglaze mushrooms with wine and reduce mixture. Put shrooms in a separate bowl and let cool for a minute.
3. Saute bacon until done, and reserve 1 tblsp of bacon fat. Add bacon, fat (optional), mushrooms, into cheese and blend.
4. Mix the egg with a splash of cream and make an eggwash. Brush eggwash on outside edges of wonton square. Place small dollop of cheese mixture in center of wonton. Fold in purse, or triangle, or any shape you can create.
5. Deep fry, or wok fry wonton at 325 degrees for 2-3 mins.
6. Drain on paper towel, let cool a little, and enjoy.
