Ingredients
Serves: 6- 3 pounds ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 (2 ounce) packages chili seasoning
- 2 cups water
- 4 (15 ounce) Ranch Style(R) Texas Beans, with liquid
- 2 (8 ounce) cans tomato sauce
Preparation method
Prep: 10 mins | Cook: 8 hours1. In a large skillet over medium heat, combine ground beef and onions. Cook until beef is thoroughly browned, about 10 minutes. Transfer to 6-quart slow cooker.
2. Stir in remaining ingredients, cover, and cook on LOW for 8 hours. Freezes well, and tastes even better when reheated.Tip
To thicken the chili, combine 2 tablespoons of cornstarch and 2 tablespoons of cold water in a small bowl. Slowly stir cornstarch mixture into stew with slow cooker set to HIGH, then repeat until desired thickness is reached.
