Beer, buffalo sauce and chicken. It’s like a whole bar meal in a bowl. Inspired by Jim Hitch’s “Buffalo Chicken Chili.”

Ingredients
Serves: 6- 1 1/2 pounds chicken breast, sliced
- 2 cups Buffalo sauce
- 3 carrots, chopped
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 (15 ounce) can great Northern beans
- 1 (15 ounce) can kidney beans
- 1/4 cup pale ale
Preparation method
Prep: 20 mins | Cook: 6 hours1. In a large plastic resealable bag, combine the chicken and 1 cup Buffalo sauce. Seal, turn to coat, and refrigerate for 30 minutes to marinate.
2. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
3. Remove chicken from bag and place on baking sheet. Bake for 15 to 17 minutes in the preheated oven.
4. In a 6-quart slow cooker, combine cooked chicken and remaining ingredients (including unused Buffalo sauce). Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours, stirring occasionally. Take the chicken out, shred it, and return to slow cooker for 30 minutes more.Serving Suggestion
Serve with blue cheese crumbles, carrots and celery. If there are blue cheese haters in the house, it’s acceptable to offer Ranch dressing for the veggies.
