Ingredients
Serves: 12- 2 pounds sirloin tips, chopped into small cubes
- 1 (29-ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 (29-ounce) can kidney beans (with liquid)
- 1 (29-ounce) can pinto beans (with liquid)
- 1 cup diced onion
- 1/2 cup diced green chili (2 chilies)
- 1/4 cup diced celery (1 stalk)
- 3 medium tomatoes, chopped
- 2 teaspoons cumin powder
- 3 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons black pepper
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 14 ounces Jim Beam(R) bourbon
Preparation method
Prep: 20 mins | Cook: 8 hours1. Brown the meat in a skillet over medium heat. Using a fork, crumble the cooked beef into pea-size pieces. Transfer to 6-quart slow cooker.
2. Add remaining ingredients to slow cooker, stir to combine, then cover. Cook on LOW for 8 hours, stirring occasionally.Alternate Method
