This is an easy slow cooker recipe for pork and beans.

Ingredients
Serves: 6- 1 pound dry navy beans
- 1/2 pound salt pork, cubed
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup maple syrup or molasses
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
Preparation method
Prep: 12 hours | Cook: 10 hours1. Soak beans in 3 times as much water overnight, at least 12 hours. Drain and rinse. Place in saucepan with 1 1/2 cups water and simmer until almost tender, about 1 hour. Drain.
2. Place beans in slow cooker and add all remaining ingredients along with the water; mix well. Cover and cook on Low 10 to 12 hours or on High for 4 to 5 hours, stirring occasionally.
