Ingredients
500 g | large shrimp, shelled |
2 | bread rolls |
25 tsp | salt |
125 tsp | ground black pepper |
1 tbsp | butter |
4 slice(s) | of peeled red onion |
4 | tomato slices |
8 sprig(s) | watercress |
Instructions
Pat shrimp dry and season with salt and pepper.
Melt butter in a medium skillet over medium-high heat. Add shrimp and sauté until pink, about 4 minutes. Remove from heat.
Toast bread rolls. Divide shrimp and layer on sandwich bottoms. Top with onion, tomato and watercress. Close and cut in half.
Tip: You may want to add sauces like BBQ sauce, mayonnaise or cocktail sauce to add some extra flavour.
