Seashell pasta served in a tomato sauce with tuna, topped with fresh Parmesan cheese.

Ingredients
Serves: 4- 1 package seashell pasta
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 5 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 can (28 ounce) plum tomatoes.
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 cup pasta water
- 1 cup fresh parsley (minced)
- 1 can (6 ounce) chunky light tuna (water based, drained)
- Parmesan cheese
Preparation method
Prep: 10 mins | Cook: 25 mins1. Cook seashell pasta according to package directions. In a large skillet, add the olive oil and minced garlic and cook until garlic begins to turn brown.
2. Add the can of tomatoes, sea salt, black pepper and red pepper flakes. Cook until it begins to boil.
3. Add in 1 cup of pasta water with 3/4 of the parsley. Cook until it begins to boil.
4. Add in the can of tuna. Drained. A cook for about 2 min and add in the cooked seashell pasta.
5. Toss and serve with a garnish of the remaining parsley and freshly grated Parmesan.
