Ingredients
500 g | broad beans |
300 g | green beans, trimmed and cut in 3cm pieces |
1 | onion, chopped |
500 g | potatoes, peeled and diced |
1 tbsp | oil |
750 g | smoked pork chop, cut into 2cm cubes |
1 bunch(es) | savory, tied with kitchen yarn |
2 tbsp | instant vegetable stock |
300 g | white beans, canned |
salt and freshly ground black pepper | |
2 l | water |
Instructions
In a large saucepan, heat the oil. Sauté the onions30 until slightly yellow. Add the smoked pork, water and the savory and bring to a boil. Stir in the stock. Add the white beans, the potatoes, the broad beans and cook over low heat for 15 minutes. Add the green beans and cook for another 10 minutes.
Season to taste with salt and pepper. Remove the savory and serve.
