Ingredients
4 tbsp | vegetable oil or ghee |
1 | red chili, seeded and finely chopped |
1 | green chili, seeded and finely chopped |
2 tsp | beans (urid dal), washed, soaked in cold water and drained |
6 | curry leaves |
175 g | potatoes, peeled and diced |
350 g | green beans, topped, tailed and cut |
salt | |
1 tbsp | desiccated coconut |
Instructions
Heat the oil in a pan and fry the chilies, urid dal and curry leaves for a few minutes. Add the potatoes and continue frying for 5 – 6 minutes. Add the green beans, salt and desiccated coconut. Cover and cook for about 5 minutes until the potatoes are tender, and serve.Preparation time:
