Ingredients
15 large | fresh green chilies, roughly chopped |
10 clove(s) | garlic, roughly chopped |
2 stalk(s) | lemon grass, roughly chopped |
3 | shallots or 1 small onion, roughly chopped |
1 piece(s) | fresh root ginger, 5 cm, roughly chopped |
1 tsp | shrimp paste |
1 tsp | ground cumin |
1 tsp | black peppercorns |
2 tsp | ground coriander |
3 tbsp | fresh basil |
5 tbsp | fresh coriander |
2 tbsp | olive oil |
1 | lime, juice and zest |
Instructions
Blend all the ingredients into a paste. If you want it very hot, substitute a few scotch bonnets for some green chilies to spice it up.
