Ingredients
Serves: 4- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 4 (4 ounce) salmon fillets
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1/3 cup sherry
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1/4 cup minced fresh ginger
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Preparation method
Prep: 10 mins | Cook: 20 mins1. Stir flour and cornstarch together in a shallow pie pan. Coat fish in the mixture.
2. Pour vegetable oil into a large skillet and set over medium-high heat. Add fish and cook in hot oil for about 10 minutes, flipping once midway through cooking time, until fish flakes easily. Transfer to plate and cover with foil.
3. Pour sherry into the skillet. Stir, then add green onions, ginger, soy sauce, honey, vinegar, and garlic powder to the skillet. Cook for about 3 minutes over low heat, stirring constantly.
4. Serve salmon fillets with sauce spooned over each.
