Ingredients

Makes: 30 bites

• 1/2 pound bulk pork sausage
• 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
• 1 cup dried cherries, chopped
• 2 green onions, chopped
• 30 large fresh mushrooms, stems removed

Preparation method

Prep: 15 mins | Cook: 10 mins

1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F and coat two baking sheets with nonstick cooking spray.
2. Brown the sausage in a skillet over medium heat. Pour off excess fat, then turn off heat. Add cream cheese, cherries, and onions. Stir well.
3. Spoon the mixture into the mushrooms and set on baking sheets.
4. Bake for about 10 minutes, until mushrooms are cooked through and hot. Serve.
