- Ingredients:
- 10 Healthy Choicelite sausage (links or patties) or sausage of your choice
- 1 cup or 1-1/2 cups apple cider
- 1/2 cup dried onions
- 1 peeled apple, diced small
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 Tablespoon maple syrup
- Raisins (optional)
Steam sausage in apple cider in large frying pan on medium heat. Add onions and apples. Cover. Cook until apples and onions are soft. Add maple syrup, cinnamon, vanilla, and raisins. Add a little water if all the liquid has evaporated. Uncover and cook on high to get brown. Keep turning so not to burn.
