Ready in: 25 mins
Ingredients
Serves: 2- 1/2 cup baking mix
- 2 tablespoons water
- 2 sausage patties
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon minced chives
- 2 thin slices Cheddar cheese
Preparation method
Prep: 10 mins | Cook: 15 mins1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Stir water into baking mix in a bowl, then sprinkle a little flour onto a cutting board and turn the dough out onto the surface. Fold the dough back onto itself a few times, kneading, until smooth.
2. Roll the biscuit dough out until it is 1/2-inch thick. Cut into two biscuits and place on baking sheet. Bake for about 10 minutes, until lightly browned.
3. While biscuits are baking, cook the sausage patties in a small skillet over medium heat until no longer pink in the middle. Remove sausage patties from skillet and keep warm.
4. Crack eggs into the sausage skillet and sprinkle with chives. Cook, stirring well as the eggs set, until the eggs are completely cooked through.
5. Split the biscuits with a fork; inside, put cheese, sausage, and egg. Serve.
