Ingredients
1 kg | pork fillet |
2 tbsp | sambal brandal |
1 small | onion, chopped |
2 tsp | cumin powder, ground |
2 tsp | coriander powder, ground |
1 tsp | ginger powder, ground |
1 tsp | black pepper |
tsp | salt |
4 clove(s) | garlic, minced |
1 tsp | terasi |
300 ml | kecap manis |
500 g | peanut butter |
wooden skewers | |
100 ml | milk |
olive oil, for frying |
Instructions
To make the satey:Cut the fillet in cubes of 2cm by 2cm.
Fry the onion and all the spices in olive oil. Let it cool down.
Add the kecap manis and the fillet and let it rest in the fridge for 4 hours.
Put the wooden skewers in water for 10 minutes. Then arrange the fillet on the skewers – 3 pieces of fillet per skewer – and grill it.
To make the peanut sauce:
Heat the marinade and add the peanut butter. Stir it well do not let it boil! Add the milk bit by bit to make a nice smooth sauce.
Serve it with green salad and baguette. Normally it is a main course, but you can also use it as a lunch or a part of a BBQ.
