Salmon Corn Chowder Recipe

1. Salmon (1can)
2. evaporated milk (1can)
3. black pepper (1/4tsp)
4. thyme (1/2tsp)
5. chicken broth (2c)
6. diced carrots (1c)
7. diced potatoes (1c)
8. minced garlic (1clove)
9. chopped celery (1/2c)
10. chopped onions (1/2c)
11. butter (2tbsp)
12. minced parsley (1 to 2 tbsp)
13. frozen corn Kernel, thawed (1pkg.)
Method of preparation
1. Take salmon, drain and flake it. Take a frying pan, melt butter in it and then saute onions, garlic and celery in the pan until they get soften. Add the carrots, potatoes, reserved salmon liquid, chicken broth, thyme and black pepper.
2. Cover the pan and then keep it to simmer for about 20 to 25 minutes or until the vegetables get nearly tender. Now add flaked salmon, corn and evaporated milk and then heat it. Sprinkle the little fresh minced parsley over it to garnish it.
