Ingredients

50 g cherry tomatoes
2 clove(s) garlic, crushed
2 sprig(s) fresh rosemary
40 ml olive oil
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper, freshly ground
2  mature rump steaks, 250 -300g each
40 ml Marmite
40 ml mustard powder
30 ml balsamic vinegar
2  feta cheese rounds

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 200°C.

Place the rosemary, garlic and tomatoes on a baking dish and drizzle with some olive oil and a little suger. Season with salt and pepper. Then roast for about 15-20 minutes in the preheated oven until just done.

Spread the steak with a little Marmite, season with pepper and a little mustard, and also drizzle with a little olive oil and balsamic vinegar.

Barbecue the rump steaks over hot coals or cook in a griddle pan. Barbecue for 5-7 minutes for rare, or 7-10 minutes for medium done.

Place a a round of feta on a baking sheet and roast until just before it begins to melt when the meat is about to be ready.

To serve place the steak on a hot plate and top with the cheese and tomatoes.

Serving suggestion:Serve with potato wedges and a salad.
