Rosemary lemon chicken recipe details
Ingredients
6 | chicken legs |
1 ½ | lemons, grated zest and slices |
5 sprig(s) | rosemary, chopped |
1 tsp | salt |
olive oil | |
200 ml | chicken broth |
Instructions
In a small bowl, mix the chopped rosemary with the zest and salt and rub the mix on the chicken.Preheat oven to 200°C.
Roast the chicken legs with some lemon slices and olive oil for 20 minutes. Turn the legs and lower the oven to 150°C. Roast for another ten minutes.
Remove the chicken from the oven, discard the lemon slices and let the chicken rest in tin foil.
For the gravy, cook the chicken broth until reduced by half and then add the lemon zest of half a lemon and 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
