The classic man’s soda, root beer, turned into tasty homemade ice pops.

Ingredients
Serves: 6- 1 (12 ounce) can root beer
- 1 1/2 cups vanilla ice cream, slightly softened
- 14 root beer hard candies, crushed
Preparation method
Prep: 15 mins | Cook: 5 mins | Extra time: 8 hours, freezing1. Pour root beer into a saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat. When root beer boils, turn heat down to medium-low and simmer, whisking continuously, until the liquid reduces to a thick syrup measuring about 1 cup. Turn off heat and cool.
2. Spoon ice cream into a mixing bowl. Stir in reduced root beer and the candies.
3. Pour into ice pop molds or ice cube trays, insert wooden ice pop sticks, and set in the freezer. Freeze until completely firm, overnight.
