Rooibos tea sorbet with pineapple recipe details
Ingredients
½ l | rooibos tea, hot |
1 | egg white |
400 g | pineapple, diced |
1 tsp | orange zest |
200 g | sugar |
1 pack(s) | vanilla sugar |
2 tbsp | honey |
Instructions
Dissolve the sugar and vanilla sugar in the hot tea. Allow to cool. Transfer into the freezer, stirring every 15 minutes. Freeze until thickened.Whisk the egg white until stiff and fold the beaten egg white in the sorbet. Freeze again for at least 30 minutes.
Divide the sorbet into dessert bowls and garnish with pineapples and orange zest. Serve drizzled with honey.
