Romesco butter recipe details
Ingredients
2 tbsp | olive oil |
1 clove(s) | garlic, crushed |
1 tbsp | onion, minced |
1 tbsp | red bell pepper, minced |
100 g | tomatoes, diced |
2 tbsp | almonds, chopped |
120 g | butter, softened |
Instructions
Heat the oil in a skillet. Then add the garlic, onion and bell pepper and cook for 3 minutes, stirring frequently.Add the tomatoes and simmer for about 15 minutes. Toss in the almonds, stir. Remove from heat and allow it to cool completely.
Mix with the softened butter and then place on a piece of plastic wrap. Wrap the butter in the plastic and refrigerate.
When needed, slice into small pieces and place on warm fish or beef to create an instant butter sauce.
