Roasted julienned turnip recipe details
Ingredients
2 medium | turnips, peeled and finely cut into strips |
3 tbsp | olive oil |
salt and black pepper, to taste | |
cayenne pepper or paprika, to taste | |
1 sprig(s) | fresh chopped parsley |
Instructions
Preheat the oven to Gas Mark 4, 180║C, 350║FPlace the strips of turnip into a bowl with the oil and toss together. Arrange in a single layer on a baking sheet, draining excess oil. Sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper and bake for 15 minutes, turning at least once for an even roast.
Remove from oven, season with cayenne pepper or paprika and sprinkle with parsley. Serve immediately!
