Ricotta gnocchi recipe details
Ingredients
250 g | ricotta |
180 g | flour |
40 g | freshly grated Parmesan cheese |
1 | egg |
salt and pepper, to taste | |

Instructions
In a bowl, mix together the ricotta, flour, Parmesan cheese and egg until well combined and smooth. Season with salt and pepper.Place the dough onto a floured surface and form a roll. Cut the roll into small pieces. Sprinkle with some flour.
In a saucepan, bring lightly salted water to a boil. Add the gnocchi and simmer over medium heat. The gnocchi are done, when they rise to the surface. Scoop out with a slotted spoon and allow to drain shortly.
Serve together with tomato sauce.
