Ingredients
200 g | long grain rice |
2 | onions |
2 tbsp | butter |
2 tbsp | tomato puree |
1 ½ tsp | dried mint |
400 ml | vegetable stock |
Instructions
In a sieve, rinse the rice with cold water, then drain.Finely dice the onions. Heat the butter in a skillet and sauté the onions until lucent. Add the rice and sauté until licent. Stir in the tomato purée, then add the mint. Pour in the vegetable stock and bring to the boil. Switch down the heat, cover the skillet and cook the rice heat for 20 minutes until done, but still a bit firm to the bite. Take from heat and allow to stand for at least 5 minutes before serving.
