Rice with coconut milk sauce recipe details
Ingredients
250 g | rice |
60 ml | vinegar |
1 small | onion, sliced |
1 piece(s) | fresh ginger, peeled, cut into strips |
300 ml | thick coconut milk |
salt and pepper, to taste |
Instructions
Combine vinegar, onion, ginger, and garlic in a saucepan. Bring to a simmer and then add coconut milk. Season with salt and pepper, then add thick coconut milk.Depending on how much rice you want to cook, either cook rice directly in the coconut milk or in a different pot in boiling water. If cooked separately, toss rice with coconut milk before serving.
