Ribeye steak with red wine sauce recipe details
Ingredients
1 | ribeye steak |
1 tbsp | olive oil |
100 ml | red wine |
½ tbsp | butter |
1 medium | onion, chopped |
1 clove(s) | garlic, minced |
salt and pepper, to taste |
Instructions
Season the steak with salt and pepper.Heat the oil in a pan and sear the steak on both sides for about 3 minutes per side. Remove from pan and keep warm.
Add the wine to the pan, butter, onion and garlic and simmer until the sauce thickens a little, about 3-5 minutes.
Serve the steak with the red wine sauce.
