Redcurrant jelly sauce recipe details
Ingredients
120 ml | cider vinegar |
350 ml | water |
1 tsp | mustard |
¼ tsp | cayenne pepper, to taste |
1 tsp | paprika powder |
2 tbsp | Worcestershire sauce |
1 tbsp | Tabasco sauce |
1 tbsp | chili powder |
1 tbsp | freshly ground black pepper |
1 medium | onion, chopped |
juice of 1/2 lemon | |
1 clove(s) | garlic, minced |
2 tbsp | redcurrant jelly |
8 tbsp | butter, unsalted |
Instructions
Combine all ingredients, except the butter, and bring the mixture to a boil. Rduce heat and bring to a simmer for 15 minutes.Strain sauce into a clean pan and add butter. Simmer until the butter melts. Stir until well mixed.
