Red wine chicken legs recipe details
Ingredients
8 | chicken legs |
4 clove(s) | garlic |
2 | red onions sliced |
2 | carrots |
salt and pepper | |
rosemary | |
mixed Italian herbs | |
100 ml | Teriyaki marinade |
150 ml | red wine |
50 ml | whipping cream |
some | oil |
Instructions
Marinate the chicken legs in the Teriyaki marinade for 2-4 hours.Heat some oil in a wide pan and fry the chicken legs until brown. Add the whole garlic and the sliced onion, turn the heat down. Julienne the carrots and add. Season well. Now add half of the red wine and let simmer until the wine has evaporated. Then add the rest of the wine. Turn the Chicken legs often so they do not burn and they are cooked thoroughly.
Cooking time is 40-50 minutes. At the end add the whipping cream and let it bubble up. Serve with rice.
