Red lentil sauce recipe details
Ingredients
150 g | red lentils |
2 medium | onions, minced |
2 clove(s) | garlic, minced |
800 ml | vegetable stock |
salt and pepper, to taste |
Instructions
Carefully rinse lentils.Sautè onions and garlic in a deep saucepan in oil until very soft but not browned. Add lentils and stock and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat, cover and simmer gently for 20 to 25 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
For a smoother consistency, process lentil mixture in blender.
