Raspberry topping recipe details
- Ingredients:
- Two 10-ounce packages frozen raspberries
- 1 cup water
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 4 teaspoons lemon juice
- 4 Tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/2 cup cold water
Place berries in medium size sauce pan. Add 1 cup water. Simmer until berries are soft. Strain, return berries to sauce pan and add sugar and lemon juice.
Dissolve cornstarch in 1 cup cold water. Stir into berry mixture and cook until clear. Cool. Pour sauce generously over Danish Rum pudding.Very pretty to serve at Christmas or Valentines Day.
