Quick easter cake recipe details
Ingredients
2 cup(s) | water |
1 cup(s) | sugar |
1 pack(s) | custard powder, vanilla |
125 g | butter |
2 | lemons, juiced |
1 medium | egg |
1 | baked pastry case |
whipped cream | |
small | sugar eggs |
Instructions
In a saucepan, combine the water, sugar and the custard powder. Bring to a boil and cook until the pudding is smooth and well combined. Remove from the heat. Whisk in the egg, the lemon juice and the butter. Whisk until the butter has melted.Pour the still warm pudding mixture into the baked pastry case and allow to cool and set.
Serve garnished with whipped cream and small sugar eggs.
