3 cups self-rising flour
3/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1 teaspoon cinnamon
One 12-ounce can beer, room temperature
1/2 cup raisins and chopped walnuts, optional

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ingredients. Pour into a greased loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Makes very tasteful, dense, sweet bread.
