Quesadilla burger recipe details
Ground Sirloin burgers dry rubbed with a blend of seasonings, topped with Mexi Ranch Dressing, sauteed peppers and onions, colby jack cheese and served in a toasted tortilla.

Ingredients
Serves: 4- 1 Green Bell Pepper
- 1 Large yellow onion
- 1 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 2 tbsp Ground Turmeric
- 2 tbsp Taco Seasoning
- 2 tbsp Garlic Powder
- 2 tbsp Cajun Seasoning
- 1 tbsp Lawrys(R) seasoning salt
- 1 tsp Chili powder
- Ground black pepper to taste
- 1 lb Ground Sirloin
- 1 pkg Small Flour tortillas
- 4 tablespoons Mexi-Ranch dressing, or to taste
- 1 pkg shredded Colby Jack cheese
Preparation method
Prep: 15 mins | Cook: 20 mins1. Preheat a grill for medium-high heat. Dice both the Green pepper and the onion.
2. In a Medium fry pan heat the Olive Oil. Add the following ingredients to the hot oil: 1 tbsp turmeric, 1 tbsp taco seasoning, 1 tbsp garlic powder, 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning, 1/2 tablespoon Lawry’s seasoning salt, 1 tsp chili powder, and black pepper to taste. Mix ingredients together in oil and allow to heat.
3. Add the diced pepper and onion to oil and stir to coat. Saute to desired tenderness.
4. Form 4-1/4 lb patties from the ground sirloin.
5. Combine the rest of the seasonings into a bowl and mix to make the dry rub.
6. Rub the mixture onto both sides of each patty. Grill until desired temperature.
7. Toast tortillas in either a frying pan, or on the grill.
8. Place cooked burger on a tortilla and top with Mexi-Ranch dressing. Place Sauteed pepper and onion mixture on top of Mexi-ranch dressing. Top with shredded Colby Jack cheese, and a second tortilla. Serve and enjoy.
