Pumpkin jam recipe details
Ingredients
1 kg | pumpkin |
1 kg | sugar |
2 | lemons, juice and grated zests |
1 tbsp | ginger, ground |
Instructions
Peel the pumpkin and remove the seeds from the flesh. Cut the flesh into small dice.Put pumpkin dice, sugar and the ginger tied in a muslin bag and leave overnight.
Put all ingredients into a large pan and bring to the boil. Reduce heat and simmer on low heat for about 1.5 hours.
Leave to cool, then put into jars.
