- Ingredients
- 2 Tablespoons butter
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon grated lemon zest
- 6 Tablespoons flour
- 6 Tablespoons milk
- 1 Granny Smith apple
- Lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 Tablespoons sugar
- Pinch of nutmeg
- Icing (confectioners’) sugar
- Maple syrup
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Peel, core, and slice apples; squeeze lemon juice over. Place 1 Tablespoon of butter in each of 2 individual souffle dishes. Heat in the oven until the butter is bubbly, about 7 minutes. Beat the eggs, milk, and vanilla together. Add flour and zest. Pour into the baking dishes, dividing mixture equally.
