- Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 stick butter
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 2 cups hulled strawberries
- 1/2 cup almonds
In a bowl beat the eggs and almond extract until foamy; alternately add 3/4 cup of each milk and sifted flour until very smooth. In an ovenproof 12 inch skillet, melt 1/4 cup butter until hot and bubbly. Pour in batter and bake in a 425-degree oven until puffed and brown. Cut in half and place on 2 plates and pass
Strawberry Almond Butter:In a food processor, cream together well stick of butter and powdered sugar. Add the hulled strawberries and almonds and pulse until just blended. Serve butter mixture and sweetened strawberries each in separate bowls.
