Marzipan bread with dried fruit recipe details
Ingredients
100 g | marzipan |
20 g | almonds, chopped |
20 g | walnuts, chopped |
2 tsp | sesame seeds, toasted |
20 g | candied orange peel |
2 | prunes, pitted and chopped |
2 | dried apricots, chopped |
2 | dried apple rings, chopped |
For the glaze: | |
30 g | chocolate, grated |
some | coconut fat |
Instructions
Mix together the marzipan, nuts, seeds, candied orange peel and the dried fruit. Knead until well combined. Shape into a bread loaf.In a small pan, melt a little bit of coconut fat. Add the chocolate and stir over low heat until melted. Pour the chocolate glaze over the bread loaf and allow to dry.
Store in a cool place.
