Puck’s Lemon Cake Pudding recipe
- Ingredients:
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup hot milk
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 Tablespoon lemon rind
- 3 Tablespoons lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- pureed strawberries
Instructions:
Heat oven to 300 degrees. Separate eggs and beat yolks until pale. Add hot milk while beating. Combine sugar, flour and nutmeg and whisk into milk. Bake in a pan that is set inside another pan with 1/2 inch water in bottom for 40 minutes.
Serve with strawberry puree. Mango or raspberry puree make good alternatives.
