Ingredients
Serves: 4- 1 pound dry pasta
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 shallot, chopped
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 4 ounces prosciutto, chopped
- Salt and pepper
Preparation method
Prep: 5 mins | Cook: 15 mins1. Bring a large pot of salted water to boil over high heat. Add pasta and cook according to package instructions. Drain.
2. While pasta cooks: pour oil into a large skillet and set over medium-high heat. Cook shallot in hot oil for about 2 minutes to soften, then stir in chicken broth.
3. When broth comes to a boil, turn heat off and stir in pasta, cheese, prosciutto, and salt and pepper to taste. Serve.
