Ingredients

Serves: 4
  • 1 pound dry pasta
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 shallot, chopped
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 ounces prosciutto, chopped
  • Salt and pepper

Preparation method

Prep: 5 mins | Cook: 15 mins

1. Bring a large pot of salted water to boil over high heat. Add pasta and cook according to package instructions. Drain.
2. While pasta cooks: pour oil into a large skillet and set over medium-high heat. Cook shallot in hot oil for about 2 minutes to soften, then stir in chicken broth.
3. When broth comes to a boil, turn heat off and stir in pasta, cheese, prosciutto, and salt and pepper to taste. Serve.
