Ingredients

500 g potatoes, mashed
100 g plain flour
50 g butter
1 pinch(es) salt

Instructions

Boil the potatoes and then mash them thoroughly. Add butter and salt if needed.

In a mixing bowl combine the flour with the mashed potatoes and mix well. Ensure that the potato scones mixture does not go dry.

Empty onto a flat surface and use a rolling pin to roll out the mixture evenly and a height of about 3cm. Cut scones of triangles or rounds.

Put each potato scone into a frying pan and cook on both sides until brown.
