Ingredients
500 g | potatoes, mashed |
100 g | plain flour |
50 g | butter |
1 pinch(es) | salt |
Instructions
Boil the potatoes and then mash them thoroughly. Add butter and salt if needed.In a mixing bowl combine the flour with the mashed potatoes and mix well. Ensure that the potato scones mixture does not go dry.
Empty onto a flat surface and use a rolling pin to roll out the mixture evenly and a height of about 3cm. Cut scones of triangles or rounds.
Put each potato scone into a frying pan and cook on both sides until brown.
