Potato quiche recipe details
Ingredients
500 g | potatoes, boiled |
50 g | butter |
2 tbsp | flour |
100 ml | double cream |
2 slice(s) | bacon, chopped |
1 clove(s) | garlic, crushed |
50 g | Gruyere, grated |
Instructions
Peel the potatoes and mash them through a potato ricer, then mix with the butter and sifted flour. Knead until you have a firm dough. Roll it out ¼ inch/0,5 cm thick and lay it in a buttered and floured flan tin. Prick the base a few times with a fork.Mix the double cream with bacon and garlic and spread the mixture on the base. Sprinkle with cheese and bake at 200°C/400°F/Gas mark 6 for about 20 minutes.
Serve hot as a main dish with salad or cold on a buffet table.
