Potato pokhlebka recipe details
Ingredients
1 | onion, chopped |
6 | potatoes, peeled and cut into 2cm cubes |
salt and freshly ground black pepper | |
garlic, crushed | |
3 | bay leaves |
8 | black peppercorns |
1 tsp | dill, chopped |
1 tbsp | parsley, chopped |
1 ¼ l | water |
sour cream |
Instructions
In a saucepan bring the onions and the potatoes in salted water to a boil. Reduce the heat and cook for 10-15 minutes until soft.Add the garlic, peppercorns, bay leaves and the other herbs. Cook for 5 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Ladle into warmed soup bowls, garnished with a dab of sour cream.
